Although Keith Krach is a businessman in the Silicon Valley, he bleeds black and gold, said his friend of 30 years, Richard Hester.
After earning the GM scholarship, Krach majored in industrial engineering and graduated in 1979. He was involved in a lot of activities, including Old Masters and Sigma Chi.
“Purdue gave me three main things,” Krach said. “It gave me an opportunity to experience different leadership roles; a strong set of values in terms of respect for different temperaments, talents and convictions; and a great set of friends.”
Krach said that almost everybody in the business and high tech world has heard of Purdue because of its grand reputation.
Krach lives in Los Gatos with his wife and three children. When one of his sons was in eighth grade he took the year off and the two of them traveled all around the world.
